Ceramic window film is our premium option for drivers who want the best heat rejection, clarity, and comfort. If you park outside, drive long distances, or just hate a hot interior, ceramic film is worth a serious look.
Ceramic films are engineered to reject a much higher amount of infrared heat compared to basic dyed films. That means a cooler interior, less strain on your A/C, and a more comfortable drive—especially in the summer.
Ceramic film blocks a large amount of UV and infrared light while still maintaining good visibility. You don’t have to go “limo dark” to get serious performance benefits.
Unlike some older metallic films, ceramic window film is non-metallic and won’t interfere with GPS, cell phone, or keyless entry signals.
Ceramic film has a clean, rich tone without the overly shiny or mirrored look of cheaper films. It pairs well with modern vehicles and keeps the glass looking factory-fresh.
If you’re not sure whether standard or ceramic is the better fit, we’re happy to walk you through the options and show you film samples in person.
Illinois has specific limits on how dark you can go on each window, and the rules are different for sedans versus SUVs and trucks. For example, sedans generally must have at least 35% VLT on all side and rear windows, while SUVs and trucks can have darker tint on the rear windows with lighter film on the fronts.
